The Watertown Summer Concert Series

Shake out the picnic blanket and dust off those lawn chairs – the Watertown Free Summer Concert Series is coming back to Saltonstall Park for its 20th season! Starting June 26, look for free concerts happening on 6 Wednesday evenings throughout the summer, all 6:30 to 8 PM. The full schedule will be available here soon – in the meantime, here’s a preview of some of the great bands headed to Watertown!

  • The series kicks off June 26th on a family-friendly note with music from The Stacey Peasley Band. A huge local favorite, Stacey and her crew keep kiddos and parents happy and dancing with sing-a-longs, story telling, and crazy props. Catch one of her songs here.

  • Indie folk singer/songwriter Jay Psaros brings his mellow sounds to the park July 10th, along with his bandmates, who are currently touring to support Psaros’ latest album The Trees Beyond the Town. A local boy from MA, Psaros has shared the stage with internationally-acclaimed acts like Third Eye Blind and Little River Band. Check out his sound here!
  • You’ll need your dancing shoes for July 31st’s show featuring The Blues Dogs, a Boston-based combo that commands quite a broad setlist of classics, from blues and rock to funk and R and B. Learn more about them here.

  • If you’re a country fan, mark your calendar for Southbound Train’s concert on August 7th! A seven-piece band out of Boston, Southbound Train tackles country classics both new and old, with a great mix of instrumentals and vocal harmonies. Check out one of their performance videos here.
