Best Al Fresco Dining

After a tough spring and brutal winter, we could not be more ready for summer here in Watertown! And June is the perfect month for enjoying every minute of being outdoors before the dog days hit. Now’s the time for dusting off that bike, enjoying the Charles, and taking in some meals outdoors! Here are some great options for dining al fresco in and around Watertown:

Nestled behind Arsenal Street’s Panera Bread and Mosesian Center for the Arts, local favorite Branch Line serves up some of the best rotisserie and grilled food around, along with a killer draft beer and wine selection. Their patio is open 12 months a year, along with what we’re pretty sure is Watertown’s only restaurant bocce court!

For over 30 years, Stellina Restaurant has been a fixture in Watertown’s food scene, known for its authentic and innovative take on Italian cuisine. From May to September, Stellina’s opens its back patio for al fresco dining under the stars – such a pretty setting, perfect for sipping Italian wine in the warm summer breeze!

If you’re craving a killer margarita, head down the street to Arsenal at the Charles’ La Casa de Pedro, Watertown’s go-to spot for amazing Latin American cuisine. The cocktail menu alone will send you straight to their cozy patio, with its unmatched rum list, tequila selection, and nine different takes on the Mojito.
