Where to Watch March Madness

March means lots of things to lots of people – the start of springSt. Patty’s Day of course – and for sports fans, March Madness! Whether you’ve got money in the game or you’re happy watching coworkers sweat out the brackets, chances are you’re going to want to catch at least a game or two. Here are some great sports bars in the area with good food and plenty of flat screens:

With a nickname like “Sports Bar Central”, local favorite Donohue’s Bar and Grill tops our list! 22 TVs, an awesome selection of bar food and dinner options, and a great hometown vibe are all just part of why Donohue’s is a must for any March Madness watching. We usually start with the jalapeno poppers and buffalo shrimp, and take it from there.

Just around the corner on Arsenal Street, Miller’s Ale House has everything you’re looking for in a sports bar – plenty of flat screen TVs, a great selection of reasonably priced bar food and dinner options, plus over 75 varieties of beer to choose from! Their waiters and bartenders are big on service and unfazed by large groups – the more the merrier.

If you’re venturing into Boston to catch some of the action, check out Champions at the Marriott Copley Place. Parking’s a breeze in the garage, and the bar itself has an awesome set-up, with a 36-TV video wall, seven kinds of chicken wings (also sold by the pound), and over 30 beers on tap.
