Drive-In Movies are Back!

Who remembers the Drive-In Movie Nights last summer at The Arsenal Project?

We bet these guys do!

The response was so overwhelming that it’s happening all over again this year! On Tuesday July 26th, the Arsenal Project will screen Inside Out, last year’s Oscar winner for Best Animated Film, and what many called Pixar’s best feature since Toy Story. Voice by a stellar comic roster that includes Amy Poehler, Mindy Kaling, and Bill Hader, Inside Out takes place primarily inside the mind of an 11 year-old girl coming to terms with her family’s abrupt move cross country. It’s incredibly original, wickedly funny, and might even produce a tear or two (in fact you might want to stuff a few Kleenex in the glove compartment).

Movie time’s at dusk (around 8:30 PM) but don’t miss out on the pre-show activities, kicking off at 6:30! They’ll be free face painting and balloon twisting, one hour with Boneparte the Magician (come on, yes) and an hour of DJ spinning the tunes. PLUS the Frozen Hoagies food truck will be there, which is totally worth getting down there for no matter what - click here and drool if you’ve never seen their version of an ice cream sandwich.

They’ll be more happenings announced for that night, so check back with The Arsenal Project to stay up on it. See you at the movies!
