Russo’s: A Watertown Gem

Now you could totally have Russo’s whip up an amazing spread to bring along to the party. Alternatively, you could impress your neighbors (and yourself) by putting together your own appetizer. Here’s an amazing, super-easy recipe that you can whip up in about 15 minutes, and Russo’s has everything you need to make it with!

Roast Beef Bites (adapted from Serves 18.

For this you’ll need:

  • a bag of mini toasts (you can find these in the cheese department)
  • 9 thin slices of rare roast beef (ask the guys at Russo’s to let you try a slice J )
  • 18 watercress leaves
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 Tablespoon horseradish
  • salt and pepper to taste
  1. Mix together the horseradish, sour cream, and salt and pepper to taste. Spread about a teaspoon each on the mini toasts.
  2. Cut each slice of roast beef in half lengthwise and roll it up in a spiral (you’re so fancy). Put some watercress leaves on top.

BOOM! You’ve just become the official MVP of the party.
